They will be able to continue their education without increasing their chances of getting the virus. 

Students in rural areas can attend school easier

Some students live in such rural areas that it can take them more than an hour to take the nearest school bus to and from school, which adds two hours a day to their school schedule in just travel alone. Or, if their parents drive them, then the family will incur a lot more expenses in gas, as well as vehicle maintenance. With online high school, students can attend their classes right from home and have more hours in the day left for enjoying things they like to do.

Some students have a much harder time in high school than others. Some may get picked on and bullied. They may end up dealing with depression from the treatment they get from other students.
